Great time!

Was in town to perform with dulcimer group and performed here and also attended one of their shows. Very enjoyable and lots of good talent!

Church pews. Clean entertainment. Locals sign up for a couple of songs and perform. You never know what you're in for. Go in with an open mind. Don't expect the grand ol opry but you will be pleasantly surprised at the down home show. It's basic. No frills. Sing along and enjoy yourself. Do a little research on jimmy driftwood... More

I am sorry that I attended the show on April 22. It was less than amateur quality- many were painful to watch. The kids were sweet and did well for themselves, however, the rest were poor to comical. I expected much better from what I was told to expect.

Friday and Sunday evenings there is music by the local people. It is an evening of good music for $5.00 a person. The Barn is just as Jimmy left it. It is folksy and fun to go.

You'll enjoy the live, mostly Bluegrass, music. Their ads exaggerate somewhat the 'professional aspects' of the singers and musicians. Plenty of enthusiasm though. Considering the low cost of the admission, it is well worth the visit.

You will go back in time! Enjoy the music of the local people. If you play an instrument, you can ask to join them on the stage. Great fun!

I didn't know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the local talent appearing at the barn. There was lots of it too. There were over twenty sets and even guest performances by talent from Louisiana. All were great and what impressed me was the age diversity of the performers from early teens to don't mention.... A must see to experience music from the early settlers, an interactive show that allows the viewer to become actively involved in the singing and fun.

Mountain View is known for their love of Folk Music; the Jimmy Driftwood Barn did not disappoint. Jimmy Driftwood Barn is a "must" while in Mountain Home. The local musicians are great great. The town and people are very passionate about their music and are passing this passion on to the next generation. The night we visited we were privileged... More
