First day in little rock and we enjoyed a lovely stroll along the river. Kids rode their scooters, wife and I got to chat and we stopped at the children's park and splash pad to cool off.

I have biked this river walk several times. Lots to see. A good portion of it is flat and easy for novice cyclists. Great poeple watching as well as watching life on the river.

This is a nice bridge that gives a good vantage point of the Arkansas river and both downtown Little Rock and North little Rock. It conects to the river trail that goes along both sides of the river. At knight its all lit up.

The ampitheater may have music / events & there are festivals many weekends, plan accordingly. Waterfront district has many interesting sights, dining choices, and a museum gift shop. Avoid weekends & 'rush' times for fewer crowds.
