A typical AEON MALL. Starbucks, A cinema, food court ground floor and restaurants on 4th floor but not a gourmets destination.

Largish supermarket, muji and other. All right next to the JR station and hotel.

This huge mall has a cineplex, food court supermarket and department store. Shopping and supermarket closes at 8pm daily whereas foodcourt till 9pm daily. They have quite a number of japanese or westernised Japanese restaurant on the top level. For fast food they have MOS burger, KFC and Delifrance. You can get all your Japanese souvenirs like cakes, chocolates and zakka on the ground too.

Went there every night for dinner. We tried a few restaurants and also shopped for dinner inside Aeon supermarket. Everything was fresh and good. Place was clean and you can get almost anything you need for your trip. Just next to Asahikawa train station.

Nice big mall, if you need to get your Royce chocs- get as many as you can from here as other outlets and the airport do not carry items that they have here- see pics!!!
Not even their real factory outlets outside Sapporo (and I’m not talking about their Chitose branches- I mean their real factory/bakery places)

Sapporo was not in our 13 days itinerary and the biggest city/town we had been was Hakodate in the first few days until the last third day when we arrived at Asahikawa and stayed in JR Inn Hotel which is beside Aeon Mall. And this huge and busy shopping mall really gave us a fresh feeling that we were back to "city". It is modern with many shops and a buge supermarket which we loved to stroll around, tasting some of the samples offered and picking up some drinks and tidbits. There is a food courts at ground floor that provides affordable local dishes while various restaurants are located at the 5th floor. So dining in this huge mall is relatively easy with many choices.

The Aeon mall is very modern and worth spending a few hours shopping around. The supermarket has plenty of selections and price is good. We bought a lot of fruits back to the hotel and they're delicious. There is a very big game centre which you can leave the children there so you can shop freely on other floors. There're also plenty of seats so you can take a good rest after shopping.

Mall with large supermarket and beauty section, spacious and good range of products. Food court was large and had lots of options. Possible to purchase from the supermarket and eat at the food court area as well.
