African Pearl Safaris gave me a competitive price and included all the places I wanted to visit. From the first enquiry email to paying the final balance everything went smoothly. On arriving in the country everything went just as well. Edris arranged everything and Francis, my guide and driver, made sure I got the best out of my Safari.Having visited... More

The gorilas are amazing. We just had to walk around 1 hour and we found them (this was luck, sometimes they are further), and we stayed with them for about 1 hour! The hotel we stayed was beautiful! Food was great! Our driver (Sula) was really nice, always trying to help. I would recommend you fly if you are going... More

I found African Pearl on TripAdvisor and from the initial email I sent to our goodbye with our driver John, it was a perfect experience that I'll never forget. Edris answered my first email promptly with traditional Ugandan courtesy and our dialogue/planning went on for weeks. He was always helpful, patient and courteous funny too. African Pearl purchased our chimp... More

The first time we contacted African Pearl Safari was for a 2 week trip to Ugunda in 2014 and Edris did such a fine job with this trip that we decided to contact him again for our safari of June of this year in Tanzania, which was as well organized as the one before, because Edris wants us to get... My ideal wildlife safari adventure to Africa would occur in Uganda and consist of the following experiences: 1) two days of gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, 2) two days of Chimpanzee trekking in Kibale National Park, 3) four nights in Queen Elizabeth National Park in search of lions and other wildlife, 4) three nights in Murchison Falls National... From the back office, to the driver to the tour guides- I have no complaints. This is an excellent service. The experience of being only a few meters from the beautiful, wild gorillas is not to be missed.

I have been to Africa and been on several safaris, but none were as well organized as this one Edris arranged for me on my solo adventure. I was able to meet Edris when I arrived and he was just as charming in person as his email correspondence. He also checked frequently during my trip to be sure all was... More

We just got back from 23 days in Uganda and Rwanda, which was all planned by African Pearl Safaris. From my first email to Edris to the moment Francis dropped us off at the airport to fly home, there was much professionalism and care for our satisfaction in our trip. We saw the gorillas in both countries, chimpanzees, golden monkeys,... More

Every detail fell into place beautifully, very well organised and advised by APS. Uganda has much to offer the visitor, apart from the Mountain Gorillas. The Ugandan people I met along the way were very warm and welcoming and this aspect really added to my enjoyment of the safari.

We trekked with African Pearl Safaris on the 1st Jan 2016. From start to finish the company were first class with clear and professional costing and scheduling to enable us to plan our time in Uganda before and after our visit to Bwindi. They also arranged to drop us safely at our next destination Lake Bunyonyi without extra charge. Sula... More
