The Pushkar lake is beautiful. Went and sprinkled some water on our head. Since our experience in Haridwar, I no longer approach any pandit near any ghat. If we do, we get swindled. So stayed away from them.

Don't accept flowers in the hand from anyone. They lead you down to the waters edge and use their religion under false pretenses to scam you out of money. I couldn't believe how blatant and disrespectful it was. Don't give them anything

This place has a history and visited it for the same reasons. However it wasnt the right time to have visited it, as we were there during the Pushkar Mela and the place was damn crowded and dirty.
