Was my local beach for years. In the hotter months of summer there is a line of small restaurants rebuilt every year for the season. Half are Christian (with alcohol) and half Muslim (without). On the southern boulvard of tyre(sour city)u will find this lovely sand beach, and great food.there is no better place than here to have fun with family and friends ,eat delicious lebanese food,drink argila, and practice beach sports, swim , rent a boat , go surfing and much more. so many restaurents, and coffee shops also near .

I was here to spend my eid holiday , so we must visit the beach specially at night , usually we go nb 17 elissar where we had a gorgeous food on the beach i loved it, my family too.

We took a bus from Beirut to Tyre and spent the day wandering around the Souks, seeing the Christian quarter, and some of the ruins. Then we took a taxi to the public beach--it was amazing. The best beach in lebanon, safe, the best for childs. You can found all u need in cafe restorants in the beach.

For us, this was just a stop to take a photo and admire the view and pristine sandy beach. It is not hard to believe that this stretch of waterfront deserves its reputation.

Most of the waterfront of Lebanon has been snatched up by the 1% elite or (expensive) private resorts. That is why the beach in Sur is so unique. The stretch of public sand is vast. There are some little pubs lined up away from the water where you can change, use the bathroom, eat or drink if you feel so... More

Tyre beach is the best and the cleanest public beach in Lebanon. There you can find lot of Cafes that serve food, drinks, .. with reasonable prices.
