Great beach
Nov 2019
It’s a huge beach so you can get a decent walk in for exercise or just relaxing. Its dog friendly in the morning and afternoon so a great place to have family fun with the pooch and enjoy, the sand is clean and good rocky out crops at each end to explore at low tide.

A stunning beach that is also dog friendly

We love walking along Culburra beach. It is uncrowded and beautiful. One morning we saw a pod of dolphins. Our dog loves the freedom of being off the lead after 4pm until 8am. She meets lots of dogs and this is her favourite place in the world

This beach is beautiful, and the best part it is dog friendly early in the morning and in the afternoon. It goes for miles.

Lovely beach!

Culburra Beach is lovely. Sunrise and sunset walks are particularly nice, as it is a bit quieter. There are always lots of dogs on this beach too, as it is pet friendly, with off leash times. Definitely worth a visit!

Beautiful Beach
Jan 2019 • Couples
Beautiful north facing beach. The beach is patrolled in summer holidays. Lookout over beach at Tilbury end. There is a park there where you can enjoy a picnic. Sowers no toilets available next to car park where the beach is patrolled. Lovely place.

just an easy walk all the way from Tilbury cove to the very far end of the beach, the water is beautiful ,the sunset magnificent and possibility of seeing not only dolphins but also seals and bird life, a very calming and peaceful walk.

Beautiful Burra
Oct 2018
Walking the beach from one end of the other is almost a 5km walk and at sunrise you often spot the dolphins and during whale season which is now you see the mothers teaching their babies how to breach - spectacular. The rock pools are also very pretty and its so peaceful.

Amazing place to photograph

Sunrise at Culburra beach is always different with beautiful shades of blue to red as the sun emerges from the horizon. Great for walking your dog and very social for pet too. you may even see whales and dolphins as well.

Culburra Beach

A beautiful stretch of sandy beach to the east of Nowra. A small section is patrolled (ie: flagged) as is a small section on nearby Warrain Beach (surf club). A great spot to keep the kids entertained.
