This is a monument of historic Macedonian appraisal against Ottoman empire in 1903. The grave of the rebels called komiti leader Nikola Karev is inside.

The sculpture/building is a true site to behold . It memorializes the battle for freedom , that was fought in this area in the early 1900's. As an American this site is very special to me .

Beautiful monument to macedonian struggle for freedom and independance symbolising mace. Astonishingly gigantic and futuristic in his architecture.
