The Rose Garden itself is small. During the winter, the roses are cut back and not blooming - however, it is still worth visiting for the views. Cordornices Park is across the street and is a beautiful park with picnic areas, playground and hiking trails....More

You enter the rose garden at the top of the hill, and can then walk down the terraces. It is well maintained with a variety of roses.

Even in winter there were a few roses in bloom. Locals come to sunset to sit and enjoy the view. Fine to bring wine.

Went on foot to Rose Garden from downtown Berkeley. It's almost hour walk up Hill. It's located on the ridge. Rose was few maybe it was not season . But view from here is good. You can see golden gate bridge.
