Year round family recreation area. The Alpine Slide attraction is California's only authentic bobsled ride. Take a scenic chairlift ride to the top, then hop on a specially designed sled and control your own speed down a 1/4 mile long track. In the summer enjoy our refreshing double Water Slide and in the winter tube on our Snow Play hill with Magic Carpet uphill lift. We also offer Go-Karts and an 18 hole miniature golf course. Our newly renovated building has plenty of indoor seating and an expanded snack bar. An outdoor patio, Water Slide deck and many grass areas allow for plenty of relaxing. Parents pay only if you play!

This is fun for all ages in lots of different kinds of weather. Tubing and sledding in snow. Water slide and go-karts in warmer weather. They have different hours winter and summer. For the activities, you can buy by the ride or unlimited day pass. Whatever you decide, it is too good to miss!

I've been here twice with my family. The sledding and tubing is super fun. Small kids will really enjoy this place. I brought my teen here also and she had a blast. I also recommend that you buy tickets for at least 3rides on the sleds for the family. They do sell a pack of 5 for a discounted price.... More

Just as the name suggests the Alpine Slide is kids of fun for all. Make sure you have extra time for the go-carts and or the water slides. No matter your pic this place is super fun

We went to area for a day and this was the last point of our trip and we enjoyed a lot. This is a place most visited by family and children. One can enjoy the full day here.

We came to Big Bear this weekend just to sled and ride the Alpine Slide. What a great time. The slide was fast and fun!

Visited with my family of 5 (kids 10, 7, and 3) at the end of our 3-day trip to Big Bear. A little crowded, but no long waits like mentioned in other posts. All 3 kids LOVED the Alpine Slide. It should be mentioned you can make your cart go as fast or slow as you like, so everyone was... More

I'm 58 years old and not in the best physical shape but you don't have to be to slide down a snowy mountain on a cold winter day. I had a blast! Lot's of family and nothing but smiles and laughter all around. Come early though, it's gets crowded fast. We arrived at 10 AM when it opens and by... More

We headed up to Big Bear for a one day snow tubing adventure. We got a few runs in as soon as they opened, but the place got so packed after an hour that it became a miserable experience. It was completely disorganized with a huge bottleneck at the top of the hill. They finally put in Disney-style switchback lines... More
