Google maps has it in Bodega Bay. However it is 5 miles inland, In the town of Bodega. It is fun to go see if you are planning or have seen the Birds by Alfred Hitchcock.

It is privately owned so you can only take photos from the outside. It's behind the church which was also in the movie, "The Birds".

The only reason to seek this out is because of the movie THE BIRDS. It is difficult to find and there's not a lot to see once you get there other than to say that you have

Although its always cool to see something that was in a movie, this was a little underwhelming for me. Love Bodega Bay and the story of the filming but its just a building that you can drive by and look at.

This looks exactly the way it did in the movie. It is privately owned now I do think there are certain times that you can get a tour. So I sugest checking the website. You can drive right up to the fence.

Yes, this is the backdrop (one of several) for "The Birds". Looks pretty much the same from the outside. Have never been inside and not even sure if you can go in, but doubt there would be much to see. Go for the nostalgia, but...More

We stopped while in Bodega, and snapped a couple of photos. The school is a private home, and tours are not available, but the exterior is in good shape, looking just as it did in the film.

We are huge Alfred Hitchcock fans. We had to go to the the school house used during filming if The Birds. They were not giving tours the day we were, but we got some really good pictures.

We just stopped and took pictures as it is a private residence now. Great to see to help with the movie The Birds. Pictured it in my mind as being closer to the water due to the movie. A very interesting building.

I don't know if ownership has changed but what I read was it is a private residence so it is not open to the public.
