Four rooms of antiques and assorted collectible junk for sale, plus for $5.50 you can visit the Ghost Town. This collection of buildings salvaged from local properties is in a state of suspended neglect, but is probably worth the entry price.

I liked the Silver City Ghost Town as I was on my way to Lake Isabella. It has a neat feel to the place, but I will say bring good shoes and be careful as some of the structures and pathways are old and sketchy...More

A ramshackle collection of old buildings moved to this site. These are from surrounding areas & communities. Also a lot of things for sale, antiques, a lot of small old things in a couple of rooms. We went out of our way and missed Sequoia...More

It's a small museum, but it well worth the price. These are local buildings from literally a few miles away, very original. Highly recommended!

Kind of quirky, not a real ghost town, but very enjoyable. This is a collection of buildings going back to the 1850's that have been relocated and reassembled at this wonderful location. Admission is only $5 and it takes about an hour to get around...More

Pretty quick run through if you don't read all the signboards. They ask for an admission fee for each person to keep it running and hope you will buy something in their antique shops which are unrelated to the location. Keep in mind this is...More

Had a warm welcome from the guy running the place. Very interesting visit, does not take long to look around 30-60 mins. Saves a lot if off road driving to a ghost town that may have nothing there. This ghost town has been created from...More

Silver City is in fact a collection of historic buildings and artifacts from the local area, which have been preserved by the owners rather than being lost to history. For any western history buff it's certainly worth a visit. Otherwise it's fun to just come...More

I took my new wife and daughter (from Ukraine) to what I thought would be a little of the wild west. They and I were thoroughly disappointed, five dollars each to walk threw heaps of old trashed (it took us 10 mins) buildings of what...More
