Very nice regional park, well manicured with a large number of picnic areas. Most pic ic places can be reserved for a fee in advance so if you visit during a holiday period either pay to reserve or visit VERY early to snag one of the few remaining places. REMEMBER to search for the redwood grove, planted in the 1970's,... More

Great park for picnics, fishing, kids, hiking. If you are up for a pretty good hike you can go to the Redwoods through the park, they are naturally growing, and beautiful! My son was in cross country and they would run the trails and he saw a Bobcat and came across a lone cow one time! : ) There are... More

I came to this park because I heard they had the only redwood trees in Southern California and it's close to my home in chino. My BF, his son, and I made it a mid day excursion we packed a lunch grab our fishing gear and went. The park itself is so beautiful and calm although we didn't catch anything... More

We were at the park to have a family get together. It was nice and clean at the tables, and the rest of the park. the restrooms were clean and without graffiti. A nice change from what we typically see.

Carbon Canyon Park is one of my favorite local spots to get in touch with nature and spend some time with my dogs. It is a lovely park that hosts a redwood tree forest and a lake this is on a migratory path for a variety of bird species. Fishing is allowed in the lake, just be sure to get... More

Positioned at the top of Orange County and San Bernardino County. Carbon Canyon allows families a step back into nature without needing to travel miles to do it. I owned a home in Carbon Canyon years ago. It was like a sanctuary in the midst of all of the development. Million dollar properties surround the area. There is a private... More

Orange County california has a nice collection of regional parks. Each has something special about it. Carbon canyon has redwoods. About a mile back on an easy dirt road, is a lovely grove of coast redwoods planted 30 or so years ago when A local bank had promotional items leftover. They have grown into a lovely grove, well maintained by... More

The grassy park surrounding the lake was nice. Great place for a picnic, with plenty of shady trees and birds. The redwoods are cool to see but the hiking trail is short and not all that exciting. Still, it's a clean, nice park for a lazy Saturday.

I had read that there was redwoods in Orange County so went to see them here. Nice walk down a trail that is well kept and lush with plants and trees. Only about a mile in and the Redwoods are huge. Planted in the the 70s and are the only redwoods here in Southern California. I took lots of pictures... More

Love this park! The entrance fee is worth how well maintained this park is. Nice play areas, shelters and clean bathrooms! Lovely lake to wander around and a nice trail to a grove of Redwood trees! Perfect for family outings to birthday parties or casual class reunions!
