The farm is right on the highway so you pass it coming or going from Solvang. The ostrich are just plain fun to watch and the exhibit of eggs and what you can do with them most interesting. It's worth the stop.

How did we ever miss this on previous visits to the Santa Barbara area? The grandkids (7 and 10) both loved it and so did we! There had to be 6-8 fenced cages of the magnificent birds. My only warning is that the ostrich can be a little aggressive when it comes to feeding so I suggest keeping an adult... More

We visited this after having toured Los Olivos, so I'd had a really great day until this. We had four adults and two kids. Somehow that equaled nearly $40 and only two small buckets of feed. My toddler, as they have a tendency to do, needed to pee right away. So, we used the port o potty. It appeared to... More

We came across Ostrich Land on our way to Solvang and we had to stop and see what it was all about! For about $6 a person you can feed Emu's and Ostrich's on their farm. It was a nice unique stop on our road trip, and a great memory!

What a cool place for Children and adults alike! They have a wonderful gift shop with some gorgeous painted ostrich eggs, the proceeds go to the Ostriches. You can also buy the eggs to cook. A self guided tour , very educational for the kids . You can feed these gentle giants too! Very beautiful

We had so much fun feeding the ostriches. It was a quick, fun and inexpensive pit stop. Payed $30 for 5 admissions and 4 feeding bowls. They have a cute gift shop. Great for kids!

We spotted the ostriches the previous day when driving past so went back for a closer look. It was a fun way to spend an hour - feeding the birds, watching them and taking some great photos. It's a low key experience but fun nonetheless.

Just before getting to Solvang off the 101, I highly recommend a stop at Ostrichland. It's $6 a person to get in (a bit cheaper for younger kids I believe), but it was quite amusing. Trying to keep our two teen aged kids entertained on the road trip, we are always looking for memorable experiences and this is certainly one... More

I have always wanted to finally stop here, when it is open....so we did. It was so cool to see all the different ages of the ostrich's and you can feed them. Very cool and a must to do. Holly
