Burney Falls in fantastic!! The hike is short and cool. If you want to extend your hike you can hike around the falls. Great day trip.

The falls had so much water in summer with just the source from Mt Burney, in other seasons with rain, melting of snow etc will have abundance of water. Must visit if you are in the area

Simply put.....I cannot wait to come back here next year to camp! Everything here is beautiful. Trails are extremely well maintained, bathrooms as well. The falls are the 8th Wonder of the World!

There is a separate parking area for the lake, though it tends to get full on summer weekends. The access is from the Park, you just drive down from the falls area. And you can walk down to the lake from the falls or the... More

There are no signs that say you CAN'T swim. LOL, but it will be cold and the water move pretty fast. Be safe!

Park staff say there have been no issues with bears so far. Storage in any containers or your car is probably a good idea as there will be smaller critters about. The Visitor Center is open now most days. Stop in when you... More
