The Calistoga Spa Hot Springs, a geothermal hot springs resort, recently...

The Calistoga Spa Hot Springs, a geothermal hot springs resort, recently completed an extensive renovation project that has dramatically transformed a property that has been attracting repeat guests for generations. Located in downtown Calistoga, the 56-room hotel and spa was completely redesigned with a contemporary spa inspired look and feel. The eighteen month long renovation has touched all aspects of the property including a redesign of the guestrooms with spa-inspired bedding, honed Italian porcelain tile showers, kitchenettes with microwave ovens and modern conveniences such as full High Definition LED televisions. The focal points of the renovation are the four-geothermal heated mineral pools. The pool deck was fitted with travertine tiles, new designer-inspired pool furniture and the inclusion of grape covered arbors.

We enjoyed two massages here and luxuriated in the mineral hot springs and pools. Had the swimming pool mostly to ourselves which was quite nice mid week. It is not fancy or super modern but I found the services quite acceptable and friendly.

This renovated classic spa has comfortable, mondern rooms, great outdoor lounging and picnic space and a beautiful choice of mineral pools. The massages were terrific and the service staff universally helpful!

This is a great place to stay--family friendly with good services for spa treatments. You will find the cares of the world melting away in the sun, laughter, and soothing waters.

One of our best trips! This hotel is a wonderful place to stay! One block off the main street of Calistoga so we walked most of the time to coffee, the bike shop, the deli for lunch and 3 different restaurants for dinner. The hotel is attractive, clean, and the 3 mineral pools are so relaxing! The one with jets... More

My daughter really wanted a mud bath while in Calistoga, and I really wanted some time in a hot mineral spring pool. We found that balance at Calistoga Spa Hot Springs, which allowed her to have a plus-one for the pool with the purchase of her mud bath. The only negative is that you do need to think ahead and... We had been wanting to try to book here a few times in the past, but it is always busy. Finally stayed there mid week. Great atmosphere, renovated rooms and pools. BBQ pits and kitchenettes to cook your own food. All was very nice. We were however disappointed with lack of breakfast, which used to be included, but not anymore.... More

It used to seem like 1/2 the town was there making it feel like a public pool. I guess they restricted usage and it's a wonderful relaxing retreat with several great pools. I took a mud bath / hot tub / towel wrap session and it was great. My personal assistant (I think Manny) was professional and make the experience... More

The Calistoga Spa Hot Sorings is a throwback. The pools and spa remind me of upstate New York. The rooms however are very modern and well-appointed. The 4 pools are clean and of varying temperatures and filled with mineral-rich waters. The clientele is certainly very diverse with many foreign languages being spoken. The massage was okay - nothing to get... More
