A nice place to practice your skateboarding - but definitely could be bigger like Oceanside has. It is kinda off the beaten path, behind a Fire Department, the Carlsbad Safety Center and Carlsbad Police Department. If you like to skateboard and you want to be safe, this is your place. Just remember to bring your helmet and pads - nobody... More

Here's a great place to practice your skate and scooter skills for all ages and abilities. Restrooms are nearby as well as shaded lawn and picnic tables. It's located across from the Safety Center where the Carlsbad Police and fire stations are situated. You might need a GPS to find it the first time, but it's on the right (a... More

My grandson loves to visit this skatepark whenever he's here in Carlsbad. We've gone to several local skateparks and this is his favorite. All the people who frequent this place are friendly and helpful which wasn't our experience at others. It's sometimes a bit difficult to find but has a great location next to the Carlsbad Police Department and fire... More

This little skate park sits has good parking and sits between a fire station and the Carlsbad Police headquarters. It has approximately 4 bowls with a couple having some vert sections but small. The largest bowl is square shaped with soft easy angles and a fun little hill in the middle. If your and amateur, this is a good place... More

Great park!!! Very clean and all the kids here had great attitudes and clean mouths and were all respectful to one another and especially encouraged the youngest skaters. Feel safe and clean with police dept and Fire station on either side also.

This is definitely for boards only, keep the scooters, bikes and small children out of the way. The day we went, just for me to take some shots, was nearly vacant at 11AM. But, once school is out, the fun begins. Picnic table under a shady tree is a good place to watch the action.

I gave it an extra star for the Mogul Maze but it'd be a 3 star otherwise. It's got everything you need but that's it. You do what you came there for and then it starts to feel a little old so you go home cuz you're not those guys that just hang there all day, you've got a life.

If you are looking to kill an hour in Carlsbad check out this park. My kids enjoyed watching skaters doing tricks and honing their skills. No fee to enter the park. We happened to go around dusk.
