Tractor ride ($ extra), playland (slides, climbers), flowers galore, mining for gold. Excellent place to take pictures. Food stands were closed but they had hot dog, ice cream, strawberry shortcake. I'm sure it would be fun to sit and eat while looking at the flowers. We had fun.

Had a great time on a Monday morning (first ones through the gate) and saw the fields in full bloom. Took advantage of the tractor ride but found that it was only interesting to get as far as the top of the hill and from there we walked. It is spectacular and was so interesting to me as I am... These flowers are only there between March and May. Walking or riding one of the trams is a great way to see the flowers close up.

A spectacular display of flowers and colours. It does not take very long to see the flower fiels but you can walk around and enjoy the scene.

I have lived in San Diego on and off for the past 50 years. I have always wanted to go to the flower fields in Carlsbad, but never made the time. I decided Spring is here and I wanted to see what the fuss was about. The cost to get in is $14 for adults, and I believe $7.00 for... More

- The flower fields are very beautiful, so many different colors here. The fields are huge, spread over 50 acres. - Avoid weekend if possible, too crowded - Very limited food inside (like kettle corn etc), so make sure you eat well before you enter the fields. - Its nice to walk around the fields at your own pace and... I had visited in March and there were very few flowers. And they were pretty small. The massive amount of rain in southern California this year had delayed the blossoms. But I decided to check back again on Easter Sunday morning and boy, oh boy, am I glad I did! I have never seen the flower fields look so spectacular!... More

My family and I were here on Easter Sunday and it was a beautiful experience! Apart from the actual flower fields, which are very impressive, there are plenty of other cool things to see and do while you are here. Food stands such as the hot dogs were not as good as we were expecting, on the other hand, the... More

My grand daughter loves flowers so we took the family and marvelled at the many, many flowers and the stunning colors. There is a fee for admission, but it's worth the price.
