Great bargains and chance to benefit non-profit organizations. Sweaters, shirts and books this time.

We have been to Carmel maybe 8 times, so looking to branch out. There was a really interesting first class man's store there and a great women's shoe and clothing store. Nothing I needed now, but lots to like there. Small, off main highway, behind a regular strip mall, gps is good. Sunny when Carmel could be foggy/

Definitely explore this if in Carmel. Great selection of shops and restaurants. All of them small, and independently owned. Really fun place to explore.

A quaint and lovely shopping adventure. The Barnyard is a beautiful flower-tiered shopping center with little boutiques, salons and restaurants. I always find treasures to take home for myself, my family & friends when shopping at the Barnyard. Lot's of parking and lot's to explore.

Visited in the early part of the morning. Some places open, some not. Parking was free and easy to find. It is a dog friendly shopping area with an interesting configuration - some upstairs, some downstairs. I like the variety of shops and restaurants. Saw several dogs visiting the area also. There is one bathroom for men and one for... More

Good spot for eats and walking around stores. We went there for dinner in a Fondue place and had a good time. I would go back anytime.

This area is full of cute outdoor shopping and restaurants. Parking could be an issue as it's limited. The shops require climbing up and down stairs, so I don't think they are wheelchair accessible.

This mall is not located in the downtown shopping on Ocean St. but further out along HWY 1 and Carmel Rancho Blvd. It has several shops and restaurants, well landscaped and nice friendly atmosphere. My wife and I visited this location a couple of times while staying in Carmel. The area is quite large but most people do not venture... More

The Barnyard is a beautiful outdoor mall with extensive plantings. Unfortunately, because of its location and poor planning on the county's part. It's easy to see from the highway but difficult to get to for those unfamiliar with the area. Many shops and restaurants.

For great food, go there for Sur. It's amazing! For shopping, it doesn't have many shops to choose from. Seems to have lost it's allure even though it has a great feel to it and could be great in it's prime. Is not on the main route and sits further out from Carmel so that could be part of it?... More
