One of my favorite beaches on the coast south of Carmel. Only about 20 min from Carmel, so easy to get to. Parking on side of road. Part of it is closed due to storm damage, but you can still visit.

Nice sandy beach and a great walk along the cliff for some great views of the coastline. Well worth stopping off to explore. Not very signposted - we were looking for it but only stopped by chance

One of our favorite places in Big Sur, especially in 2017 since the Pfeiffer Bridge is out. Be careful on the beach, the stairs were gone in March (washed out) at the bottom by the beach, easily a 6 to 8 foot drop-off at end...More

Must stop at this park to see the views of the coast, like no other! The coastline in this area is rugged and breathtaking, truly a magical place.

Gorgeous views along Garrapata State Park Bluff Trail. Took a moment here and there in breathing the fresh air and feeling the cool breeze. Abundance of lovely flowers and plants all around. An enchanting waterfall when crossing the quaint bridge. Followed the sounds of sea...More

The beach was beautiful. The access was removed enough from the highway so that you felt removed from the hustle and bustle of traffic. There were enough nooks in the rocks along the edge of the beach that you could get some privacy.

It's really easy to walk around here and enjoy the beautiful scenery! There just perfect views everywhere you turn. You probably want to stop where you see cars since there's no clear marker on where to stop.

Loved the white sand beach and the views . WE were on a drive to Big Sur and stopped over here. It was a short hike down with some stairs and was one of our favorite places to stop on our northern Cal vacation

If you are going to Big Sur, then you'll be seeing this too. The stopping points are just breathtaking and peaceful. We, as humans, are so small. Nature is so grand.

Yes, you can drive in and some of it would be handicapped accessible . It is a State Park however and in my memory, only a small part would be easily handicap accessible.
