We have been wine club members of Heller for 6 years. We LOVE their wines! All the reds, especially the Malbec and Pinor Noir, are extremely tasty. We have purchased cases of the Chenin Blanc as our favorite white. We have done their annual grape stomp, which is so much fun!! Also their annual ladybug release has been a notable... More

One of many wine tasting rooms right in the main drag in Carmel Valley. You can easily walk to 10-12 tasting rooms in a long afternoon (we did). The tasting room was open and spacious. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the wines. All of the wines are completely organic. The winery has been in operation for almost... More

We are into organic food and wine. This winery has superb whites especially the Chenin Blanc. The Cabernet is also excellent and great aging potential. This winery is into organic wines and it really shows in there flavors. The taste is incredible. You must be a wine connoisseur to appreciate these wonderful wines!!

Heller is our favorite winery. Mary is always a gracious hostess, easily meeting the needs of guests, no matter how many or few are present. The organic wine brought us in the quality and experience bring us back. We joined the wine club for an excuse to return quarterly.

Heller Estates got our vote as best experience and tastings on a recent Monterey wine tour for our group of 14. They arranged to take us a little early before they officially opened so we were served by two very knowledgeable and friendly staff who were passionate about their wines. They explained the differences between Carmel Valley and the Salinas... More

We liked their cab franc and malbec - both were superb. The sculpture in front of the winery tasting room is nice. The staff was welcoming and we enjoyed our tasting.

Had a great wine tasting experience at Heller's. Learned so much about organic wine making. They use 300,000 lady bugs each year in their vineyards. Staff was very knowledgeable and informative. Excellent 2012 Petit Verdot!

Great little place with some old wines, you can get bottles from the 80s and 90s from the library collection just released. The Reds are all very good, they have Pinot, a Meritage blend that is great, drinkable now. The Merlot is also quite nice.

Wine tasting at Heller Estates is always such a pleasure. The staff is so much fun and very informative. I like the idea that their vineyards are organic. The wines are of excellent quality and would recommend stopping in for a tasting. Love their whites and the reds are incredible. They also have a delicious port. If you are cruising... More
