Indoor and outdoor exhibits, enough to spend a full day exploring! Little cafes to grab some food or a coffee, but also outdoor space to have a little picnic lunch. Great history and cool exhibits, and in the background, some breathtaking views. Welcoming for adults...More

We love Coloma and Marshall Gold State Park. The Poppy Pass works here for parking. Great history lessons key to California! Visitor center, old buildings, the famous mill, blacksmith shop - all well done. You can even try your hand at gold panning. The river...More

Very nice place to visit. Prices are low and by the car load not individual. Well worth the cost of admission. Plan on visiting for a couple hours. We spent about four hours but it would have been longer had more of the out buildings...More

This Park is a jewel: on the American River, original/restored buildings, demos - blacksmith was especially good - displays, trails - everything a State Park is! This was Easter Sunday and the park was filled with families enjoying time together. Check it out!
