The picture shown here from TripAdvisor is on the east side of Coronado. We rode our bikes from the RV park at Silver Strand State Beach to this side of town. The bike path runs along the water with some outstanding views of San Diego....More

A few locals surfing. The beach has a lifeguard. We paid $10 to go in the area and the bathrooms were not even accessible. Glad to leave the $10 donation since they did have a lifeguard. In general, not even average in my opinion. Not...More

But a years pass for the park, and put it to use! You won't be sorry. Pass good for all the state beaches up the coast!.

Great Place for a crowd of people, clean beach with amenities close by. Just be aware that the cost to park is $10.00. Its is worth the price for a clean beach with fire pits.

We went here hoping to find sand dollars, but didn't see any. The kids had fun. Lot's of sea weed here. In the water and on the beach. Parking was $10 if I remember correctly. Fun to be out on the island. The bridge ride...More

We loved visiting this beach! There were just few people there, it was like having an entire beach all to ourselves- it is very long and clean, peaceful, with beautiful waves. Made some super photos, too.

I spent a couple of hours here one afternoon when I had some free time, and was very pleased to see how clean and well maintained it was. There's a large area for campers, and plenty of room for picnics or just lunging on the...More

It depends. If you bring pets then buildings 4/5. We were in building 1 and it was just right for us. It's close to the main lobby and pool(s). But so are the other buildings.
