We decided to go over the famous Coronado Bridge and look for a beach to hangout at that wasn't too crowded. We successfully found a very quiet beach with no riptides and very little crowd. Weather was perfect. The water temperature was perfect. The bathrooms...More

We visited the beach while staying at the Loews resort and was underwhelmed. The sand goes glisten under the sun when the sand is wet and there is a public snack shack but otherwise it didn't seem too great. There are a lot of RVs...More

If you need to park your motor-home, make reservations as it gets very crowded on summer week-ends. There are restrooms and lifeguards. Do not expect a view as depicted with the Coronado Bay bridge nearby, it was not taken from Silver Strand.

Many have already written on this beach so believe what has been already stated just make sure you bring your sunglasses - the most amazing white sand we've ever seen. At your service D&T.

We love how quiet this beach is. The sand is soft and clean, the water has great waves and it has easy parking. The snack stand is reasonably priced and has basic food options.

The beach was pretty and easily accessible, I marked it down one because it did have a bit more garbage on it than expected.

It depends. If you bring pets then buildings 4/5. We were in building 1 and it was just right for us. It's close to the main lobby and pool(s). But so are the other buildings.
