The Akvarell museum is located by the water in a bigger fishing village on the coast. The building itself is interesting. Exhibits have very reasonable prices (50:- in February 2016), but make sure you check the program before planning your trip to the museum. Exhibits can vary a lot and not suit everyone. In any case, try the restaurant!

Nice location on the sea. I can highly recommend the Disney exhibtion going on right now, otherwise you need to be highly interested into contemporary painting to enjoy the museum. Nice online guide to exhibition, nice staff.

Check what the current exhibition is before you pay and enter! The actual Disney exhibition is ok but not at all what I was hoping to see... So my expectations were high when I went up to see part of the museum's collection on the 2nd floor. The girl at the entrance had warned me that there wasn't much, but... More

Make sure you know what they show at the moment, they change exhibitions often. When I was there now, it was Disney on ground floor. The exhibitions were well put up- but I was disappointed at how the small cinema room was hard to reach. Adults gathered round the small door openings, children sat on the floor. Perhaps a large... It's 4 floors of textiles and living arrangements. It's not entertaining at all. If you're into comparing couches from the 1800s with couches from the 1970s, this is your museum. I thought this was going to contain more history, but it really had more history of clothing and living, as opposed to war and fighting and politics. We spent an... More

It a nicely designed little museum with varying exhibitions, not only watercolour but mainly watercolour. The restaurant at the museum serves high quality food and is well worth a visit.
