I have traveled all over the world and this is by far one of my top 3 favorite things I have ever done. Horse back riding on the beach has always been on my bucket list, I could not have picked a better location to achieve this hearts desire. The scenery is breathtaking. There are not truly enough adequate words... More

I rode horses quite a while ago and it was my first time to ride a horse on the beach. This is remarkable feeling when you are riding and water splashes from the hoofs of horses makes you feel part of the nature and just let go all the worries in your head. You can feel the power and a... More

I had a great time. I heard about horses on the beach on my last trip to San Francisco so this was my 1st stop once i got off the plane. The ride was beautiful. The view was much more than i had expected. My guide was great he stopped so i could yake pictures and even took several of... More

If you have not been on horses quite a bit, this is a scary trail. It has steep hills. One miscalculated step of the hourse and you could go down a cliff. The trail guides were rude, did not give us any instructions, just put us on the horse and said: " let's get the f...out of here". When one... More

I will start with the good as I am an optimist :) Here, you are taking a guided tour through the eastern slopes of the Santa Cruz Mountains and along the Pacific coast-- beautiful views ! Our tour instructor was very nice as well :) However, the customer service was terrible. We were not greeted when we arrived and the... More

We went out for an hour without having made any reservations. No helmets were offered, and the horses seemed a bit tired. The area could have been better taken care of and it was a bit difficult getting there without your own car. It was a nice ride though, but it did not feel like a place that shouold cater... More

When my daughter and I arrived, a small group (4 other riders and guide) was about to leave, so we hurried to sign papers and get on a horse. It was a cloudy, dreary day, but the view was amazing and riding a horse along the beach was wonderful (our first time to do so - been riding in Wisconsin... More

I was a little worried about the horse ride after reading a few reviews but decided to give it a shot. I tried to call the number that is listed on the website but it turned out to be a fax number. Whilst I was sitting there waiting for the ride I believe the owner came and gave a talk... More

I am horrified about my visit here. While yes, the views on the trail are amazing, the horses do not appear to be taken care of. First of all, there was no one outside when we arrived, no one to be seen except three saddled horses hitched to a pole and literal horse feces EVERYWHERE. Fresh and old and mostly... More
