My mother really wanted to come here and see the birds and they were beautiful. Free Flight is a great opportunity to see these animals up close and personal. Everyone we spoke with there was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. The place is very small and took us 45 minutes to feel as though we saw what we came to... More

I found Free Flight on trip advisor and have been trying to fill my sons 3 week winter break with activities so thought this would be a good one. My son is 6 and my step son is 12. Upon arriving we were greeted by an employee who had a laundry list of things the boys COULDN'T do. There were... More

Great place to kill sometime with the little ones. Amazing beautiful birds--some are very friendly that allow you to pet and hold them. The manager their is great; she is extremely knowledgable and it's clear she is a bird lover.

I dislike the exotic pet trade because it entraps wild life into situations that cause them great sorrow, especially because people often do not know what they're getting into with animals that should be free in their original natural habitat. This place houses surrendered mackaws, cockatiels and other birds whose owners could no longer care for them. It was wonderful... More

They basically house exotic birds and are open to the public for interacting with the birds. While the staff is exceptional, some of the birds are not as friendly. This is to be expected, as they are animals, and some seem to have experienced some trauma. It's awesome to be able to hold and feed the animals. I'm not sure... More

Free Flight is a small facility where the birds are outside as long as the temperature is above 60 degrees. The handlers are bird experts and will advise you on which residents are friendly or feisty. These creatures are well cared for and although the facility is small, it is worth a visit to support the cause.

I used to work for a bird breeder and know birds - I have used this vet and can say this place cares about every kind of animal there is especially the birds outside. Hold some and have fun seeing and learning about different shapes, sizes and hear a few talk to you too!

Small but unique place. They have a great varied of birds. Lots of great volunteers help you to interact in a way that is safe for you and the birds. Be sure to go on a warm day as they will close if it is too cold for the birds.

My husband bought a groupon for Free Flight. We thought we'd spend 1/2 hour or so and we ended up spending 1.5 hours! It's a really small place, but so much to see. The staff were bringing out the birds from being in at night. They were so beautiful and most of them very social. Not all of them can... More

We arrived when they opened planning to spend a couple of hours there. Upon entry, they gave a quick instruction about what to do and not to do with appropriate warnings for interacting with birds (remember, they do have minds of their own). At first look, we thought we wouldn't be there that long. They kept bringing out birds and... More
