We stumbled upon this place after having lunch at Viewpoint Brewing and decided that we must visit. It costs $7 for adults and $3 for children. The staff were all nice and explained how it works, which birds will sit on your arm and which...More

This was a little out of the way place. Please check the hours of operation. We arrived 30 minutes before closing and they were closing up and putting the birds away. There was still a full charge, but I felt it funded a good cause....More

Visiting friends in Cartiff and they suggested we visit. I'm so glad we visited. The place is small but the experience was huge! I've never had exotic birds so accessible. I took some great shots with my camera and we ended spending 2.5 hours there.

Hidden gem - 501c3 for rescued / donated birds. Near the Del Mar Fairgrounds - and for $7, you can interact with the birds pretty much on your own. Volunteers were knowledgeable, and provided lots of information about the animals. Wish more knew about it.
