Just a couple blocks from our hotel Del mar inn. Lovely park. lots of grassy areas to throw down a blanket and just relax. Some shade. walk ways and skaters. Many surfers start out here. Only a couple blocks from surf shop.

My favorite spot on a cliff overlooking Del Mar Beach! Views forever! Also almost every weekend there is a small intimate wedding here. Torrey pines wind throughout, and lush vegetation top it off.

We attended a wedding in Seagrove Park. Lovely location on a bluff overlooking the ocean. Small park but ideally located. Short walk to the beach with many nearby restaurants. The reception for the wedding was at the "Power House." Very nice location especially the patio...More

A very nice park. Lovely scenery. Beautiful beach!! Very well kept. Took my grandson from Colorado. He is 3 years old and had never been on a beach. He loved it along with his "beach bum" California cousins!!

No matter of the time of day Seagrove park is a lovely spot to walk, or stay and read a book overlooking the ocean. There is also and excellent small tot lot for busy parents.

Seagrove Park is usually only known by the locals, great place to walk, picnic, enjoy the sunsets or just sit and contemplate at any time of day. Lots of great restaurants close by...perhaps do take-out and eat in the park under the Torrey Pines or...More

I hate to share my local spot because it will just be that much busier, but Del Mar is the bomb and this little gem is a cool place to hang out. Especially in the summer.
