We take our kids here every year. Great location, not overcrowded, and only a couple hours away. Once you set up camp, lots of hiking and activity options. Clean restrooms too. And pay showers!!

You can easily spend a day here, if not a few. There is so much to see. We stuck to the trails and hiked all around for a few hours, and only hunger and a lack of planning cut our trip shorter than we would...More

We stayed at the paso picharo campground with our little puppy (site 72!) and we were able to hop right on the Lookout Fire road all the way to the top.
