The best part about this place was the view overlooking the valley and the food. I was hoping for the wines to be better, but that was just my personal preference.

Our friends took us to one of their favorite spots for a wine just minutes from their home. We were amazed that this clear mountain view could be so close and so different than on their golf course location. A great location for a winery...More

This beautiful winery fills up quickly, so go early. They make a small variety of pizzas. Get a salad with a secret dressing, a bottle of wine, sit back and enjoy the view. It's worth a trip down Highland Valley road

This place was a bit of a challenge to get to, with lots of twists, turns, and drives down roads that had me questioning the expertise of my GPS. But it was all correct, and once we found Cordiano, we were rewarded with a very...More

Don't tell anyone as this place is tucked away but worth finding! Great views, tasty wines and interesting eats. Great, friendly staff. A good destination after a few hours at the Safari Park.

After doing some research, we wanted to come to Cordiano Winery as it sounded like a great place....It was closed the first two days we wanted to go--one being Presidents Day? When we did make it--we found it very unorganized and confusing, no signage or...More

We did the wine-tasting and the only wine that resonated with us was the Zin. A little young-tasting, but nice. The view and the pizza were the stars of the show! We had an oven-baked Margarita pizza, which was as good as any pizza I...More

Gorgeous view across the valley from the patio. The wine was, at least by my taste, very shallow. I'm used to much more full bodied wines. Their pizza was fantastic and you can make you own. We added grilled zucchini for the first time and...More

Assuming you have a car, going east will take you to Julian, a quaint little village about 1200 meters elevation. Closer to the northwest is Fallbrook. There is a park called 'Live Oak' that has a few hiking trails. The... More
