Small, well managed zoo. Be sure to visit the aviary and see the scarlet ibis. Oh, and the dahlia garden was in bloom when we went. Just fabulous.

We went to the Sequoia Park Zoo for my 60th birthday. We had little ones, teens, parents, grandparents and great grandparents! It was a great day. If you haven’t visited the zoo do so soon!

The Zoo was clean and fun. We saw a variety of creatures, including the Red Pandas, River Otters, Apes, Spider Monkeys, and some of the ugliest but friendliest goats you'll ever see.

Do this, it's FREE! There's a city park next to the zoo with trails winding through the giant trees, ferns and a pond. Less than a mile walk. This is not advertised well, but what a surprise! Do it!!!

This pint-sized zoo, with nearby onstreet parking, is packed with fascinating and entertaining zoological wonders. Did you know that a spider monkey has no thumbs on its hands, but has a big thumb on its tail? Or that shrews can eat their own body weight...More
