Great family fun!

Small but informative with lots of interesting habitats to explore. Great place for families, school field trips or just to hang out and learn about the animals.

The place is beautiful. Many gigantic redwood trees. Rest rooms, benches and a little road thru the park to check out the trees. Walking trails thru the woods make it even more outdoorsy in the middle of town. Highly recommended place to visit when in Eureka.

We've visited this zoo a few times and it's always been fun. It's worth supporting for educational purposes and to maintain the animals that have been rescued and brought there. The beautiful Redwood trees that surround the park add to the enjoyment of observing the critters. Beware though, there is a day when children are free...if you don't like hoards... More

There were several small animals in their natural habitat.Monkeys, Bush Dogs, wild pigs, chickens, a donkey all were in evidence. The red Pandas were not in sight. There were Yaks but we didn't see the "largest cow." An inside area with snakes, turtles, and sea otters. A petting zoo: goats, sheep. Flamingos. Interesting for children. We ordered freshly cooked, hot... More

This is a small zoo located adjacent to Sequoia Park in the residential area of Eureka. They have red pandas (which were sleeping when we visited), local fish exhibits, a big cow and lots of birds. The people there were exceptionally friendly and everything was clean. The gift shop has a wide variety of choices and the on-site cafe was... More

It is what it is. Not a sit down fast food but a fun place to treat your grandchild to a treat. Small area, mostly sit outside but again't that's the fun. Prices could be lower, think that would help business. In same area as zoo gift shop. Would be nice if seperated so more dining space. A soda dispenser... More

It may be small, but it's worth the visit. Located in town with the Redwoods in the background, this zoo is reasonably priced and accessible to all. From the river otter exhibit to the petting zoo to the red pandas, there is something for everyone. It is very clean and has friendly zookeepers who always seem to be on hand... More

A gem of a zoo located in a remote part of the California coast. If you find yourself in Eureka it is a must stop spot.

I had a blast! It was my birthday and I'm used to the Sacramento zoo so it was smaller but cute! I like the flamingos and they have friendly staff!

The zoo is actually located in a very pleasant redwood setting that provides an abundance of animals and is adjacent to sequoia park as well as the gardens.
