I stopped by the Folsom Prison museum and spent an hour hear. Lots of pictures and memorabilia. Inmate manufactured weapons are fascinating.

For a very small fee you can browse the museum and see all of its contents and history about the prison and Folsom. They also sell cute trinkets and t-shirts. Get your picture taken out front "walking the line"

We love view all the animals and the people there are very nice. Every time I go to sacramento it’s always a great experience the people there are very happy & generous I’ve never had a bad expirience going to the Folsom museum

We found the video very well done. This Prison was built by inmates that learned a solid craft. To see the history was fascinating. Sure glad I’m on this side of the gate!!

I went here on a whim while on a quick trip to Folsom. Ended up spending at least an hour at this little museum. Lots of really cool display items and the docent was awesome!

When I booked our hotel I got excited and checked to see if it had if this was where the Folsom Prison was Museum was small but had alot of neat stuff and a lot of Johnny Cash Stuff I Loved it

No. He actually played inside the prison and you cannot go inside. The museum is located outside the gates.

I don't think anyone is allowed inside the prison. The museum is small, no need for a tour
