We traveled to Beals Point for an open water swim event. The swimmers competed in a 5K and the area was beautiful and well taken care of.

Unfortunately we turned up on a HOT busy weekend with a "fully shaded site" that turned out to be no shade what so ever for our popup camper. The only response from the staff was they were changing the reservation company and they were full...More

Nice open space with plenty of picnic tables. Don't come if you're afraid of squirrels. Nice view of the lake and the dam.

Sweet place to camp in the spring. Sheltered from winds off the lake. Plenty of room to relax, walk or ride your bike. Folsom Lake is full of water right now.

I ran to Beals Point from downtown Folsom on the trails that follow the American River. The trails are smooth and clearly labeled. And I saw Jack Rabbits on the trail! A special treat
