The zoo is a sanctuary and the animals are rescue. There is a lot natural habitat for the animals to reside in. Bears, mountain lion, foxes, birds, cougers. They have docent programs that teach about animal habitats. Great place for families.

Don't miss this attraction. There are many animals here in a fairly small space. Great place to take toddlers or stroller size kids. Good parking, good easy paths, nice gift shop, low admission. Worth the stop.

Nice destination to relax and see animals up close and from our area. Good for old and young not looking for a 'Disneyland experience'.

Great small local zoo, but lots of wildlife saved from various places, including injured animals that they help and save. Support this wonderful zoo.
