The Guest House is an authentic piece of Mendocino area history. A must see stop for a glimpse of life in the logging era replete with photographs and artifacts of a bygone day. The giant slab of redwood at the entrance is most impressive.

Part of the museum is still being renovated but the parts that are finished are very well done. The docent was very informative and friendly. Lots of old photos made this interesting.

This is a great place to start learning about the history of Fort Bragg. It's small, you can cover it in about 30-45 mins but it's free (small donation suggested) and gives a lot of information that would perhaps help you see the town in...More

The sign said they opened at 10:00 and at 10:10 they still were not open and coming back later in the day was not an option for us.
