I love this place.

It had been 30 years since I'd come here. Everything is here that is good. Birds, marsh, bay, hills, good smell.

The few times I've been here it has been very uncrowded and quiet. It's a wonderful place for short, easy hikes with beautiful views of the bay and plenty of shore birds to spot. Lots of parking and easy access to the trails.

And a great place to just escape for an hour or two, maybe longer. A series of trails along the shore of lower SF Bay just above 84 and the Dumbarton Bridge. Great trails with excellent views throughout the park. Nothing too challenging, but a great space to just take a hike, ride a bike and clear your mind. May... More

When the sun came out full blast, we decided to take our 3 lil pups on a hike to Coyote Hills. The paved trails made the hike an easy one and the views are breathtaking! I would recommend this hike on a mild day, as there are no trees to shelter hikers from the scorching sun on a hot day.... More

We had half a day to kill and this one came out the TripAdvisor hat being fairly close to where we were staying. We paid the $5 to drive and park by the visitors centre and from here we traversed the three hill climbs and circumnavigated the lagoons using the boardwalk. You have to be fairly mobile to get to... I always love a visit to Coyote hill, it is an oasis of calm in the hustle bustle of life. We take our own food and beverages as there is no cafeteria on site. Also the visitor center is closed on Monday and Tuesday. It can get a bit crowded on weekends.

this is my fav local outdoor as the trails are on the bay shore, give you enough privacy and the whole park is just very close by. You can walk, bike or hike on your pace, fresh air and the beautiful scenary spread of the bay with its bridges. And of course, this is the only place with less crowds... More
