The zoo has really improved. Great place for an afternoon date. Love the new Savanna exhibit, and food court with adult beverages.

I jointed the Chaffee Zoo before going as planned to visit it more after 25 years. Visiting grand daughter took it to it and she enjoyed it but better in Spring or Fall as from Santa Maria, Ca and it was hot for her.

there is wifi in the savanah eating area. you are also allowed to bring your own food and beverages into the zoo ( no glass bottles allowed). they also serve beer in the new area as well.
