This is a very small winery, but the wines have some very big taste. This was our first introduction to "raw" wines and it is definitely worth the stop. Here you get personal, one on one service with unique tasting wines with excellent quality. It is definitely worth the stop if in the area!

I first tasted Darek's 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon after buying it on a discount internet site. It was an amazing wine that should have sold for five times what I bought it for. I am a collector and wine person going back over 40 years. I knew I had found something special. I visited with Darek and was impressed with his... More

A small winery with big tastes. Derek will fill your mouth with great wines and your mind with lots of facts about the wines you are tasting. It is off the beaten path, but worth the stop if you are in the Windsor area.

This small winery is one of the few wineries that uses only the naturally occurring yeasts on grapes to make their wines. The tastes are unique, the quality excellent. The winemaker is on the premises and is likely to be the one waiting on you in the tasting room. Prices are very reasonable. If you want something different in your... More

Derek is so friendly and knows wine! We have been going for several years. Love their wines in the barrel or the bottle! We have ordered futures and purchased bottles. They often have a case special offered if you're attracted to sales!

Ever hear of Abourious? Neither had I. Been drinking wine for 30 years and thought I had tried it all. Then I stopped into Old World Winery during barrell tasting. Darek is behind a barrell with this weird name on it and ask if we want a taste. I'm curious, but not expecting much from a grape that I've never... More

Darek was a great host. First met in New Orleans when he was pouring at a local wine store. Took him up on his offer if we were ever in Santa Rosa. Definitely a stop to remember! Coordinated a picnic lunch and spent several hours on a Sunday afternoon in his picnic area enjoying the wines and his company. It... More
