You could do a gourmet DINNER here!

More than just a fine grocery store, the deli is outstanding; the sandwiches heated up perfectly, the soups (6 to choose from) hot and tasty, the breads are fantastic, the little... read more

Under the previous ownership, Glenn Ellen Village Market and the Sonoma Market were great places markets: Wonderful choice of organic produce, grass fed meats, fresh seafood. All reasonably priced. The service was always friendly. You would make a comment and the owners would listen and make changes if needed. Now, that these 2 markets have become part of a large... More

More than just a fine grocery store, the deli is outstanding; the sandwiches heated up perfectly, the soups (6 to choose from) hot and tasty, the breads are fantastic, the little eating area cozy with large windows looking out to the sleepy town of Glen Ellen and a view of a fun funky sign post with all the wineries pointing... Whenever I am in Sonoma I make this store part of my itinerary. It has wines from all of the local smaller vineyards , and a butcher with any fish or meat you desire, freshest produce, storemade health juices. If you are looking for rare specialty items, you will probably find them here. And the people who work here clearly... More

We love the Village Market. Their selection of soups, sandwiches and desserts are overwhelming. We bought our lunch here and then headed to Benziger Winery. You won't regard the visit.

On the outside it looks like a convenience store tucked in behind a bank. On the inside it's a full-service small grocery with tons of great prepared foods and a very extensive array of wines.

We always visit the market when in Glenn Ellen. They have a large variety of foods for a small town. Nice selection of cheese and sausage for the wine trail. Very nice salad bar with a nice variety of olives. When we stay in town, this is a must stop. Prices are a little higher then the big box stores,,,,,,but... More

Stopped in several times over the course of my week-long stay in Glen Ellen. Good wine and cheese selection.

This is your basic grocery/convenience store with lots of local fare. Deli had variety, including good local cheeses. Prices were average to high.

We got breakfast and lunch items for our three-night stay in Glen Ellen here. It's a super cute market with a lot of tables outside where you can eat a reasonably priced lunch in between many wine tastings!

Glen Ellen Village Market, and it's sister store, Sonoma Market, were recently purchased by Nugget Market and the evidence is clear. With ongoing renovations while the rest of us sleep, Glen Ellen Village Market has really stepped up. Not only aesthetically pleasing to the eye, the produce is substantially fresher/better than before. The delicious fresh foods in the deli and... More
