We had a lovely tasting here with Toni. She made us feel welcomed and was great company as we tasted through Merriam's delicious wines. After being at several other wineries during our weeks stay in Healdsburg, we found this one to be our favorite with many wines that we loved. Our favorite was the Pino Noir. Also a beautiful place... More

I've been tasting and enjoying good wines for the past 43 years. Many times I taste and find nothing that I live. This wasn't the case at Merriam. There are 4 wines that I found I truly enjoy. We even joined the wine club because these wines are not available outside the winery. What a gem.

We have attended barrel tasting weekend for about 5 years, but this was our first visit to Merriam Vineyards. We were very impressed. We ordered several of the futures and another person in our party joined the wine club. Both owners, Peter and his wife Diana, were serving from the barrels and were very gracious hosts. We visited 24 wineries... More

The winery is beautiful & we have been enjoying Merriam wines for many years now . They have been wonderful and keep getting better it seems. Very knowledgable staff and very helpful to us on our quick visit to the area. The outdoor setting is perfect to enjoy your wine especially at sunset near the fire pits. I am not... More

This is a relatively small winery just off highway 101 south of Healdsburg. It can be seen from 101, but you have to exit just before or just after you pass it to get to the winery. They have a good selection of well crafted wines, pleasant tasting room staff, and an owner who pops in to the tasting room... More

This was one of our favorite stops during our short visit to wine country. Some very drinkable and full reds. Friendly staff, spots to sit outside and chat or play cards, only downside is the traffic noise nearby, but the delicious wine makes up for that.

Merriam is our favorite winery. Discovered their wines a good ten years ago. Have been to the winery twice. The reds are amazing. The Chardonnay is outstanding. I even like their Pinot and that is not a wine I usually like. Very personable and intimate. Also some lovely gift items ,olive oil and other food items.

My husband and I went here on our recent trip to California. We went in an hour before closing and the staff was not welcoming at all. You could tell they were mad to have a customer at that hour. We tried a couple of wines in the tasting room. The Pinot Noir was ok but the Cabernet was terrible.... More

Our innkeeper recommended this winery to us as his favorite. We are all oenophiles of red wine. Our hostess/manager was gracious and informative. The cabs are big, bold and lucious. Don't misss this.
