Zichichi Family Vineyard is a small, family-owned winery in the northern section of Dry Creek Valley. We produce extremely limited, estate grown wines in our exquisite Dry Creek valley facility. We specialize in Zinfandel, Petite Sirah and Cabernet Sauvignon. A visit to Zichichi includes a unique and special barrel tasting of our favorite wines. Come enjoy a picnic on our spacious rear deck, high on the hill, overlooking the vineyards and mountains in the distance.

We discovered Zichichi about ten years ago when Steve was just befginning his winery. Could only taste from the barrel and have become ardent followers ever since. Lovely tasting room in the vineyard, great views and unhurried atmosphere. If you like smooth zins, this is your place.

I have been going to this winery and purchasing wine from them since 2006. The quality up until 2012 was the best. Big fruit upfront and a wonderful pepper finish. Now the wine has changed. No more big fruit upfront and no peppery finish. Well below average from the past. The grapes are the same but something else has to... More

Love, love, love this place! The wine is extraordinary and the views of the vineyard are just as awesome. The tasting is $10 but they waive the fee if you buy anything and that shouldn't be too difficult. The day we were there, the tastings were right from the barrel so that was kinda neat. They have a veranda perfect... More

This is a wine you can only taste from the barrel. You must buy futures. My only regret is that I missed a year. A must visit for serious wine people and anyone who has never done a barrel tasting. No pressure to buy either. Very low key approach.

I found out about this winery from a conversation I had with a friend who asked me if they were related to me. My mother’s maiden name was Zichichi and I was interested if there was a connection. I have been there twice and I still haven’t had the pleasure of meeting Steve Zichichi the owner / winemaker. The view... More

We always have Zichichi for Christmas dinner - pairs so great with smoked prime rib! We finally got to visit! It is So Beautiful, and really unique in that you can sit on the deck and see the entirety of the vineyards. Only the cab comes from elsewhere. Since this is such a high demand, low production wine, there is... More

Second time here and no matter when we come the vines on hills and sweeping view is awesome. Sunny or misty it's pure Wine Country. Heads up the 2015 Zins and Petite Sirah will be gorgeous bought some futures today. Other tastings limited but what they have is superb. Wouldn't miss barrel tasting in March.

Very friendly and knowledgable staff. Love how they taste out of barrels year round, uniquely them. Their sauv blanc is delicious and crisp for hot summer days. Winemaker is usually roaming around too and he is very interesting to talk to. Off the beaten path for sure, but a beautiful setting!

We were wandering down a dusty little lane in Dry Creek when I happened to look up and see a sign advertising a barrel tasting. Since this was our first trip to Napa/Sonoma this was our first chance at such a fantastic event! We were lucky enough to be in the main room, sample 2 delicious zins-one was an old... More

What a fun little winery! And nothing beats barrel tasting!!! The three wines we had were very good! A delicious zin and Sarah! But the only negative and why I would not give another star is that they don't sell by the bottle. I get why, it's a small winery but I don't really want to buy six bottles.
