Nelson-Kennedy Ledges State Park is only 167 acres but it has a fascinating variety of crevices, cliffs, caves, rock formations, and waterfalls. Since my first visit six years ago, the parking lot has been enlarged and the pit-toilet bathroom improved. Also boardwalks were added to aid footing and keep the paths out of water. We live 5 miles away and live taking our kids here. You just have to watch your kids! It is beautiful! Wear appropriate shoes for climbing.

This was such a great short hike. While not strenuous, it's a good workout for a brisk hiker. The ledges and scenery make this a definite favorite.

This is just a wonderful park to hike and see so much beauty around. It is quiet and really gorgeous in the fall. So, put on your hiking boots. Across the street, you park and have a picnic at the tables.

Absolutely beautiful. The trails of different colors sometimes are difficult to follow, but it is fun to explore the park.
