If you have young children that have never been on chairlifts before take them on the platter lifts or quail chair because madden and ellis make me nervous with my kids because there is no bar old homewood express has a bar and goes faster...More

They have group classes and private lessons as well. It is right near the lake so you get an awesome view of the lake as you ski down. They have some good small beginner slopes that you can practice in before taking the chair lift...More

There is no dedicated sled slopes. They may, once a while, groom areas around the base for sledding. But need to call to confirm. And that usually is off peak days.

checkout the Heavenly ski school on line on their web site. Its the best training really.
