Nice beach, good atmosphere. Not that crowded in february, plenty of places to eat or shop in the area. Parking was pretty easy, but im assuming thats due to it being F February.

Probably this is the most beautiful Pier area in the whole L.A. area. It is cool because here you can meet nice and friendly people. It is not posh as in Newport Beach and you can even surf really crazy! I recommend to visit this...More

There isn't a ton to do at this pier, but it's cool and has some nice views of the ocean and surfers.

Such a nice place to walk. Great views. Fun local shops nearby. Lots of places to eat. The shopping mall is worth the walk thru. Lots of nice shops & very reasonably priced.

Long beach pier with a icecream parlor at the end, aslo view of a few oil platforms. Best view are at night time when you can see the lights of the city and the lights of the oil platforms

The dog beach is located at the intersection of Goldenwest St. and Pacific Coast Hwy. It's one mile north of the pier. All dogs are welcome so be mindful of non-social dogs.

From the pier you need tackle , pole, cooler, ice, bait.. Deep sea charters have all that and go out miles for best fishing If you have the money, go deep sea. Mikw
