We are staying in Anaheim but wanted to visit a beach while we were here. So glad we decided to go to Huntington! The beach and the surroundings were very family friendly and had so much to do! Walking the pier, laying out on the beach, shopping, eating! What a beautiful place!

HB pier is world renowned for surf city. It has gotten really busy with all the hotels and new attractions. If you like paying tourist prices for restaurant and don't mind crowds, I would recommend it. If you want to visit HB, go, but then hit inland.

One of the great CA piers with plenty to do in the area. Lots surf, sand, shops and places to relax and enjoy a cold one and/or some food. Must experience!

One of the best beaches in California. The pier itself is not big, is not that crowded like Santa Monica and rodendo beach. But you enjoy watching people surfing. At the end of the pier they have Ruby's. I haven't tried it but I think the view would be good there. There is a public park by Starbucks.

This long pier is long enough to get great views of the coastline, surfers in the water and to get a nice walk in.It was rebuilt in 1992. Ruby's restaurant is at the end of it and provides a nice family atmosphere. Fisherman like to use this site too and you can often see their catch in buckets all around.... More

If you like the beach but not he sand, you can have a walk up high, watch teh volleyball players, fishers, surfers and at times the sharks. don't miss Rubys at the end of the pier for shakes and fries but expect long lines.
