We spent a whole day at the beach with our grandchildren. They didn't run out of things to do. It is a beautiful beach and it wasn't overcrowded. The waves were great. We watched surfers and paragliders. We also were lucky enough to be there during an awesome air show. We saw a sea lion swimming by and you could... More

Huntington Beach State Park is lovely in the year 2016! I came here as a child in the 60's and it wasn't this pretty with all the oil rigs drilling for oil. The eyesore now is the offshore oil rigs, but at sunset it's pretty. We biked along this stretch and it was crowded with skaters, joggers, lots of dogs... More

The Huntington Beach State Park consist of a long stretch of Beach in Huntington Beach. Beaches are kept relatively clean considering all the people. Sand is soft and golden in color

There with a friend. Our hotel was just across the street from the beach, the beach was never crowded always surfers to watch. Fire pits on the beach at times all were lit with a crowd around them. The beaches were clean. The surf is pretty big for beach novices, be careful.

We loved the entire Huntington Beach area! The beach is awesome! Lots of good restaurants, places to shop and places for dogs. It doesn't get any better than this!

I'm pretty sure this is the biggest beach I've been to! Visiting in the fall, it's fairly quiet but we hired bikes from the hotel and the path at the side of the beach is great for that, both north and south of the pier. Sure it'd be busier in summer but there's so much space pretty sure it wouldn't... More

The beach here is wide and sandy and well maintained. There is a paved trail along the shoreline that they keep clean and many people walk, bike, and run along. The water is cool, and the waves can be strong at times, but its a great spot to enjoy the sun, sand, and surf.

This is a beautiful place for most beach activity. Great place to run. Need I say surfing. I love that you can have a bon fire here.
