Once a month we walk to the end of the IB Pier to the Tin Fish restaurant. There is no ambiance, just delicious food. The new owners have added more tables outside the restaurant (I prefer to call it a snack bar) but kept the...More

One of the best piers on the California coast! A pier that you can still fish off of during season and tons of people do. The pier provides expansive views of the California Coast, San Diego, Tijuana and the Coronado Islands. Considered the center of...More

A great view of Imperial Beach. Walk the pier to a restaurant or get drinks. Picnic table seating. Fun to watch the people fishing and a beautiful place to enjoy the beach air on a sunny day. Great for photos. Farmers market in the area...More

Was nice to walk around and feel the cold breeze in my face while listening to the waves crashing onto one another. Went there on a Saturday though, will probably try to go sometime during the week day. Had so many people eating each other's...More

Just went down to SD for the day and found ourselves on imperial beach. Beautiful pair, and great people. Beautiful weather and the kids loved the water and the beach.

Beautiful views of the crashing surf from this iconic pier. Definitely worth stopping just to walk out to the end and see the ocean all around you. Gorgeous at sunset. Fun to see the locals fishing off the pier or surfing the waves here :)

Imperial Beach is a great place for families and locals. I went with a friend who lived in Chula Vista. We had a fun day of playing guitars, swimming, and just hanging out.

Long pier out over the Pacific, Mexico to your left and California to your right. It is a long enough pier to fit everyone coming and going and those trying to catch a few fish. It can be run or walked at a leisurely pace.

Beautiful pier, friendly locals, and a great restaurant at the end. If you're lucky you'll see dolphins and sometimes navy seals training from this pier.

All is kid-friendly at the Tin Fish at the end of the pier, but you have to tolerate fisherman, seagulls and the occasional angry pelican--all part of the ambiance! The food is good, but not sure about hamburgers. Nearby... More
