The weekend polo is well worth including in your trip. The commentary makes sense of the play - even if you've never watched a match before. The clubhouses are excellent for a shady place to sit and enjoy food and refreshments. Even a simple wander around the extensive paddocks is very interesting.

I have been to several polo fields and events around the world and Indio is one of the tops! It's a lot of fun to partake in any polo event here, especially when it's hat day! So many superb/quirky/elegant hats that it's a feast for your eyes. Everyone is always so pleasant and having fun. The recent renovations have been... More

Every year we come here for a polo Sunday. We love having breakfast at the Cantina and getting close up views of the horses. This year we also visited the Club House area where it costs $10 per car to get in. We loved the grassy areas where you can sit and get a great view of the games while... More

there are two polo clubs back to back... funny, had never seen one and here you can hardly tell where one ends and the other begins. both fun, great announcers and educational if you have never been exposed before... not intimidating at all! :)

Our time at the polo club was made 100% successful because the team, from grounds, to stables, to office, are completely devoted to providing great service. Thank you. PS - The restaurant on site is terrific.

Nice way to spend a weekend afternoon. Can either tailgate and bring you own chairs and drinks or reserve a spot to eat and drink. Once you get the basics of Polo it is interesting to watch and admire the skills of players and quality of the Polo ponies. Best to go when a quality match is on the see... More

My wife and I go at least once a month during polo season to watch the matches either on Saturdays or Sundays. The fields are so beautiful with the backdrop of the gorgeous mountains. I would highly recommend attending. It's a wonderful afternoon for people of all ages.

Great burgers and fries. Friendly service. Cold beer. Decent prices. Always enjoy touring the polo grounds either before or after lunch. We have visited Indio every March for the last four years. We have lunch there at least once each year. We will be back again next year.

This visit to the polo grounds was organized by friends; we had 5 couples total in attendance. Everyone brought at least one item to pass, and we sat on the east side of the field, backing up each car the the location we desired The grandstand announcer was excellent and kept all viewers informed of the action on the filed... We had a terrific time at the Clubhouse at El Dorado for Sunday polo. It was our first time at a polo match. The $10 change was reasonable, the food and drinks were good and the atmosphere was great. The seating at the clubhouse is under a large tent, which is essential. You have the outdoor feeling without the blazing... More
