Besides all the cute stores and restaurants, each building has a history. It takes a second to read the plaques on the buildings and the architecture and materials used are very interesting. We look at the ceilings, floors, door ways, etc. The one block is a gem and hopefully it will stay that way.

Find all sorts of goodies from Wierschems train town candies,to Rosebuds farm to fork restaurant Beautiful finds at Ladies FIrst to incredible finds at Tinker O Brien Beautiful Antiques ,Home Decor and many splended things at The Emerald Forest located next to the Historic National Hotel a must see!!!! Shops, food, antiques, and so much more...all in a quaint old-fashioned environment. This is a great place to visit any time, but especially near any of the holidays. Watch for parades, costumed characters, and wonderful decorations.

Went to do a bit of antiquing, and while the shops were interesting, with eclectic inventory, many closed at 4 pm. Nice little street, quite walkable, free parking while we were there. Bring money, support these merchants.

Cute street with lotes of fun shops. If you are into antiquing, this is your place. Fun way to spend an afternoon relaxing and browsing.

Court Street in Jackson is part of the original layout of the town, begining about 1860. You can walk it as part of the historic walking tour of the old downtown.
