Skydive San Diego has been servicing the skydiving community for over 25 years. In 2016, Skydive San Diego is currently owned and operated by a former Navy SEAL and former member of the famed US Navy Parachute Team, the Leapfrogs. The vision is to transform the drop zone into one of the premier skydiving destinations in the world.

A tandem skydive from 13,000 feet above a view of the ocean, Mexico and mountains is like none offered anywhere. It is an incredible experience and should be on everyone’s to-do list. Our tandem instructors are some of the best in the world and will make your experience awesome every time. Come out with your friends, family and they can participate with you or watch you go through all the steps and cheer you on as you land right in front of them. We are one of the few drop zones in the San Diego area that offer this type of experience.

Experienced skydivers can also receive coaching, a full-service rigging loft, and load organizing.

Skydive San Diego caters to adrenaline junkies who prefer to skydive solo, offering First Jump Courses (FJC) through the USPA Certified Accelerated Free Fall (AFF) program for those who wish to begin their skydiving journey.

For fun jumpers there are even more options to advance with a dedicated flight school, which offers formation skydiving, freefly, canopy, and wingsuit coaching by some of the most talented skydiving instructors.

Instructors at Skydive San Diego are some of the most experienced in the world and have several thousands of jumps each. Many are world record holders, and all are friendly, approachable, down-to-earth, and dedicated to helping their students.

A one-stop destination for skydivers, skydiving enthusiasts and visitors, Skydive San Diego offers experiences that last a lifetime.

Skydive San Diego operates the drop zone to the highest safety standards. We have some of the best skydiving aircraft, equipment and riggers in the industry. Skydive San Diego is also where many of Americas most elite military train receive their solo jump certifications.

I've been planning to sky dive ages ago, I was waiting for anyone to muster the courage and join me. Finally me and a friend decided we should do it and we picked Skydive San Diego. Their website is quite easy and have everything you need to know about skydiving. I booked a 2PM class today, but I finished an... More

I consider myself a ground-lover and not an adrenaline junky. More on the timid side, I jumped with my daughter for her birthday. I was scared. Really scared. But there is a weird calming vibe among all the guys running around the place, like this is normal to jump out of a plane. Leaving the safety of the plane was... More

My boyfriend and I have the same birthday and when we can, instead of gifts, we like to go on trips. For this birthday, we planned a trip to San Diego, I had no idea that he had planned to use the group on, that I had originally bought for him and his mom to go, for a surprise. I... More

Oh my gosh. This was on my bucket list, and at age 66 I finally went skydiving. Making reservations is a good idea. We got there at 9am, filled out paperwork on health, release etc. Had about five minutes of instruction. Got fitted in our harnesses and waited for our tandum instructor. Mine was very sweet and lots of fun.... More

I had skydived previously in tandem several times and wanted to try the solo jump that I noticed while surfing the web; since I live in Mexico and was traveling to Ensenada, San Diego was considerably near. I arrived to the facility at about 11 am, and found out that in order to jump that way, I had to arrive... More

I have always wanted to go skydiving, but being from Ohio I wanted to do it someplace that had an amazing view from the sky. I actually found this place via reviews on TripAdvisor, and knew this was the place I wanted to go based on positive reviews and the awesome pictures I saw of others' jumps. I was really... More

If you are brave enough to jump from 13k feet, this might be the place. The instructors and the equipment seemed really good. The airplane too, a twin engine turbo prop. Goes up like a rocket. Up there you will the San Diego, the Ocean and Tijuana. Recommended!
