The Four Seasons Lake House was a great place to stay. Beautiful views, spacious, well appointed - even an indoor "shuffleboard/bowling" game table! Nice trails and restaurants nearby (especially Jeremy's in Wynola), and Julian has fun shops. Loved the record store! The only disappointment was...More

The lake is so full, it filled up 3 sections this year. It was so pretty and blue, wondeful to see it this way. Everything is so green. Many enjoying fishing in therir little boats.

Picturesque lake - we drove along its coast. Cuyamaca Dam is of interest. Stop at Stonewall Mine. We also climbed nearby Stonewall peak for a great aerial view of the lake.

Not exactly worth getting out of your way, is not a very pretty lake. There is a restaurant which is nice =, unfortunately we had eaten in Julian. Hope we hadn't because the food was sickening.

We were thinking about going on a picnic to Lake Cuyamaca this weekend. Are there picnic tables with shade?

Yes there are some nice areas with picnic tables in the trees on both sides of the lake. Be sure to get there early as the weekends tend to fill up fast.

I saw people riding horses on a separate trail near the lake. I saw no stables at the fishing marina that controls access to the trail around the lake.
