This is my favorite hike out of the June Lake Loop. Parker Lake is a popular hiking destination in this region, and it's not hard to see why! It is a relatively short easy hike that arrives at a pristine alpine lake in the back-country...More

I was part of group of adults and two small dogs that took this hike recently. We didn't even make it to the lake because of the heat and lack of shade on this trail. There is a fairly decent incline at the start and...More

Hiking with our dogs. Drove through some winding off bumpy road for about 15 mins to the trail head. Begin with some elevation climb so would consider a moderate level to some hikers.

Amazingly beautiful hike. Fairly easy, a bit up hill at first but once you're past that it's mostly flat. Gorgeous views from any point, but especially when you get to the lake. It's breathtaking. A fairly popular trail so there will mostly likely be other...More

We loved this hike. It was a little more strenuous than advertised with some uphill, but didn't mind the workout. Parker Lake is beautiful - got some amazing photos. Be sure to take some bug spray as some of our group got several mosquito bites...

This is a pleasant, moderate hike with the nice of reward of an attractive lake. The trail was quite busy during our visit in August. I could have done without the large, loud group of potty mouthed college aged kids at the lake. Hats, sunscreen...More

This lake is gorgeous at any time of the year (when the road is open), but when the fall foliage is at its peak, it's magical. ROAD: The road off of the June Lakes loop is gravel. Portions of it have washboard and it gets...More

Hiked on Wednesday August 23. Great day hike. About 2 miles one way with very easy grade. Lovely hike with varied sage, aspen, pine areas, and Parker creek right next to the trail for several parts of the hike. Moderate level of fellow hikers, but...More
